caversham wildlife park 27.8.2011

Hi i thought id do a page on the day darren and i took all the kids off to caversham wildlife park for the day..............   

 

 On sat 27th aug 2011 we took the kids to caversham wildlife park they had a ball chasing each other around and patting all the different animals...........   It was a nice day to walk the park not to hot or cold, we stoped for some lunch in the park cafeteria but wernt there for long before the kids wanted to move on and see more.....................

We came across a koala that was so thick with fur he felt like a pillow to pat and touch .... The girls wanted their picture taken with the koala            

We also saw a really funny donkey that made everyone laugh, he pulled a silly faces and showed off all his teeth...........................

Last of all at the end of the day beau got picked out of the crowd with a few other kids to feed the baby lambs.......

growing big fast...................

I cant believe the growth of "ned" our pet snake, when i look back at old photos its hard to remember him being this small.

He has had another cage build by darren because because of his growth, and also the fact that to get him out of this small cage the lid opened from the top and he did not like us coming in on him from the top,

We think he likes his new cage ( more room to move about ) but if he keeps growing at the rate he is, then in a few years he will need to go outside

ned is very popular there has been a few people that have come to our house for a visit and have plucked up the courage to hold him themselves........My older children love him and always want to get him out for a hold, even fight over who is the next  person to hold him........

The horse beach

Hi,
It feels very weird everytime i enter a new post coz i cant get use to talking to the computer...
          Ok anyway 2day Sat 28.1.12 i picked up my children because the are all staying the night.
We decided last week we were going to go to the beach when the kids came to stay over so we headed of for the beach around 9.30 while the wether was still reasonable, Darren and i wanted
to take them to a new beach we have only been to a few times because i know my daughter Nikkita (keet) loves horses.....  When we arrived keet was so excited, i think we had only been there a matter of 10min max and she was ridding someones horse having a ball.... Here are some pic's

Ufortunatly i wasnt quick enough to get hold of the camera, but alanah did eventually
ask to go on the horse.... oh no sorry i couldnt
take any pics coz alanah and i got on the horse together and noone thought of getting photo's of us ridding the horse thro the water.
I almost slid staright of the side of the horse coz they are bloody slippery when their wet
but alanah loved it she was so proud that she rode the horse like the other kids....  Just wish i had a pic of it.

Australia Day Stuff up!!!!!!

Happy Australia Day!!!!!!

  Hope you all had a great aussie day! We enjoyed Mcdonnalds breakfast and a play down at champion lake this morning, then just after 9am we had arranged to meet steve and kitty at the horse beach just of anketel rd.

Alanah had heaps of fun seeing all the horses playing in the water

trying to keep cool..... And darren and i got burnt a fair bit

on our backs and shoulders.

Didn't stay down beach for to long coz it was just to hot in the sun.....................

We were all set to go and watch the firework later that evening but the stupid

lady from the council told me the firworks started at 8.30pm, so we

left home a 8pm hoping to get close enough to for alanah to watch the sky show

but as i was driving down armadale rd fireworks were going off in the

distance and by the time i got to where the people were watching them

the grand finale firworks went off and we missed the lot.....

Poor possum, she kept asking where the fireworks were.

First Day Learing

Hi this is my first day learing how to use this blog thing, Not confusing me much!!!!!
